It's quite hard to work out what is compatible among these.
Looking at the Manfrotto site, the standard plate 357PLV is 140mm long and slides 80mm.
This 357PLONG slides 140mm, and so is 200mm long ?
The site says it's 140mm long, but the scale goes 0-150mm !
The 577 plates are narrower (52mm not 58mm ?)
The 577 plates fit 701HDV heads, have 40mm travel and are 90 mm long.
