Rating More portable and easier to use than 410 junior geared head; ideal for more occasional/casual use to near its capacity.
Review by John Garner on April 1, 2015Having considered the other manfrotto geared heads, and researched other makes (limited choice - beyond spending large on pro things like the Arca Cube), I tried a few in some shops to gauge the feel of the clutch and gearing mechanisms and solidity/stability. This one wins for compactness and portability, while still managing up to 4kg so they claim. It might depend on how long/high your load is.
