Celestrons LCD Digital Microscope II is a versatile and powerful microscope that features a 5MP CMOS sensor, capable of capturing high resolution colour images and 30fps video. All of which is viewable on the on board 3.5 in colour LCD display, or on a monitor via an AV video out port. An effective magnification of up to 400x or with additional 4x digital zoom on an external monitor with a magnifying power of up 1600x. To ensure the quality of the optics is utilised and provides the best possible image, the microscope also features achromatic objectives and a bright 8 LED illumination system with adjustable brightness. Specimens will be mounted on the 3.5 x 3.5 in mechanical stage which features full X Y motion control using two precision Vernier micrometres.
