Available in a range of colours, the 2.1m high, 1.5m wide 7x5 foot background cloth is supported by a telescoping aluminium frame. The cloth is made from wrinkle resistant, machine washable Polyester and fits easily to the frame.       I really likes the idea of this item, but felt it was not that great for a white backdrop

      A friend of mine had the Westcott Basics X-Drop Kit with a black background and it killed ambient light stone dead. I really liked what it did. So, on that basis I bought one with the white background. I'd read that it was a little flimsy, the arguments of light weight kit versus sturdier, heavier kit and that some people thought the white background wasn't taught enough so it left streaks, etc in shot and that potentially it should be ironed before use.
