Oglesby on October 3, 2011I purchased this little metal adapter so that I could use mr-14ex flash with the 100mm 2.8L lens and while it does what is reqiured of it, it is expensive for what it is. I feel that the lens I need this adapter for could have easily been designed in such a way to not need this, like the other Canon macro lenses (60mm to 100mm), also when in place it should be supplied with a new smaller diameter lens cap so you don't have to remove the adapter when not using the lens but again this is a further...
