Epson Maintenance Box ET-8500/8550 Series

This is a very similar Epson maintenance box that is found within the previous EcoTank ET 7750 and EcoTank ET 7700 models. It works as a reservoir trap for when the ink cartridges overflow during loading and setup requiring replacement only occasionally. Further to this, the maintenance box stores ink that is flushed from the system during print head cleaning.
