The Sony RM VPR1 Remote Commander is a cable release with multi terminal cable which allows you to release the shutter of your Sony NEX, SLR and Cyber Shot cameras, as well as control the zoom and startstop record button for a Sony Handycam camcorder. A vibration free shutter release makes all the difference when you need to keep the camera really still for close up and long exposure photography. The shutter lock bulb function lets you keep the shutter open for striking night time scenes, light painting and smooth seascapes. The cable comes with a multi terminal cable and is powered from the camera via accessory shoe and AA Alkaline battery. This remote is not compatible with the Sony RX100, but works fine with the RX100 II version.
