Excellent mic By: jy, on December 6, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Lightweight and easy to handle. Only potential problem could be the wire that connects to camera, which cannot be unplugged from the mic, and has no defined stowage location. Since the wire is rather thin it could be compromised. |

The mic is super cardioid and does pick up nicely - but its got a wider pick up angle than some hyper cardioid mics I've used. The windsock is totally essential if you are recording outside as the standard one that comes on the mic doesn't do the job well enough on its own.
