Fantastic lens and a great improvement from the predecessor By: Photog, on January 28, 2016 Pros: Cons: "I've owned two copies of the predecessor and they were okay, a bit erratic AF sometimes but they did the job and my clients were happy. But I find this lens far superior, beautiful colour rendering, edge to edge sharpness, a very accurate and extremely fast AF, pin sharp images from 24-70mm on all apertures, I've required an AF fine adjustment on my D800 of +6 to get these results. It is not cheap but I completely feel that all the improvements are worth the price. I am a professional photographer and want... |
