Celestron Advanced VX 8 EdgeHD Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope

The Celestron Advanced VX 8 EdgeHD is a complete astroimaging platform for deep sky observation and image capture that combines the new Advanced VX computerised mount with Celestron's best optics, the EdgeHD optical system. The telescope features an 8"" Schmidt Cassegrain optical tube with 2032mm focal length, 40mm eyepiece, an adjustable stainless steel tripod and NexStar hand controller. The EdgeHD optical technology is designed to produce aberration free images across a wide visual and photographic field of view. The VX mount with improved motor was specifically designed for optimum power and tracking performance for smaller telescopes. Thanks to the autoguider support and All Star Polar Alignment you can choose any star listed in the NexStar hand control included to assist in accurately aligning your telescope's mount with the North Celestial Pole.
