The Canon RF 14mm f1.4L VCM Lens is an ultra wide hybrid prime lens in the RF L series, combining a rectilinear optical design with an f1.4 maximum aperture and a near silent VCM autofocus system. Its optical construction uses 18 elements in 13 groups, including fluorite, BR, UD, and folded aspherical elements to control chromatic aberration and coma. A dedicated iris ring and an integrated lens hood support exposure and framing at wide angles, with a minimum focus distance of just 0.24m.
