Blackmagic Studio Converter

Mirroring the same workflow as SMPTE fibre, the Blackmagic Studio Converter utilises low cost 10G copper Ethernet cables to allow breakout of all video, audio, and talkback connections at the studio end. In short, this means that the camera feed, return program feed, timecode, reference, tally, talkback and control are all directed down the single cable. Further consisting of an advanced in built power supply, the Studio Converter has the capacity to power the connected camera via the Ethernet cable. This means that you do not need a power source near the camera when on set and even fit two converters per rack unit with the addition of the Blackmagic Universal Rack Shelf.
