The Powerline 8 can charge AA and AAA rechargeable batteries and the different sizes can be charged simultaneously. Battery levels prior to charging are not important when using this unit and it is suitable for all brands of AAAAA rechargeable NiMHNiCd. Once a battery is fully charged, the charging process is automatically stopped and switched to trickle charging with current pulses to ensure optimal performance and counteract battery self discharge. A clear LED display shows each slot's progress for the current program mode.
