Designed for safe white light solar observation, the Acuter Solarus 80 is an 80mm refractor with a permanently mounted glass solar filter and a short 400mm focal length. Paired with the SolarQuest auto tracking solar Go To mount, it automatically finds and follows the Sun, keeping it centred for relaxed viewing of sunspots and surface detail. A rotating colour filter wheel, a fixed zoom eyepiece, and a smartphone adaptor make observation and recording simple.
