    "I bought this to go with a Rode M3, which is 33mm in diameter. The Amazon product details - and Rycote's own details - state that this suspension mount can handle mics up to 34mm in diameter. I assumed, therefore, that this would still be a comfortable fit for the M3.

    However, the mic pops out quite easily in comparison to thinner mics (up to about 25mm). It will not fall out with shaking, but if you happen to knock the mic even slightly, or don't quite push it down far enough, it will spring...
